MiniCollect® Capillary Blood Collection System for Neonates and Infants

The MiniCollect® tube is made from virtually unbreakable, highly transparent polypropylene and features a unique cap system called "Cross-Cuts", which helps eliminates the risk of contamination. Blood can either be collected with a special funnel, or with a capillary tube.
Both venous and capillary blood samples can be collected, whenever a small amount of blood is required, for example, from a weak adult and in particular from young children.

The system includes a special funnel, or colour-coded capillary tubes for the collection of blood. Carrying tubes are available for ultimate compatibility of the tubes with analysers and centrifuges, better identification of the sample and safer storage.

The system is best combined with Greiner Safety Lancets. These are disposable automatic safety lancets, which lock after one use, preventing accidental re-use.
